With thanks to Asma, a wonderful gathering was held to which women of all faiths and none were invited. After sharing delicious food, we listened to our Palestinian guest, Hamdeh, talk about life under occupation. We shared laughter and tears (a lot).

Women of different backgrounds came together for International Women's Day and enjoyed lovely hosting, superb spread of food and most importantly, learned the truth behind the headlines of what is happening in Palestine. Extremely moving to hear the guest from Palestine speak about her daily life.
